What the number in your HUD does not tell you

The counter is the only progress figure the game gives you. It does not break the total down by biome, so a player sitting on 180 has no way to see that three of the missing animals are gated behind a 50-click chest and a two-player plate. Ticking animals here rebuilds that view.

This list is 259 map animals plus 13 merge hybrids and 2 reward morphs. The title says 280. Those two numbers are not the same thing, and the page says so instead of padding the gap with invented names.

What you put in, what you get out

Takes

  • Biome filter (7 biomes, merge hybrids, reward morphs)
  • Name search
  • Found checkbox per animal

The biome filter mirrors the seven areas on the biome pages. Search matches any part of a name, so “camel” finds Camel and “ox” finds Fox and Musk Ox. A tick is stored per animal, not per biome.

Returns

  • Filtered animal list
  • Per-biome progress
  • Overall progress out of 280
  • Next milestone badge

Progress counts ticks against the 280 in the title, and the badges follow the public milestones at 50, 100, 150 and 225.

Where the list comes from, and where it stops

Every name here comes from a builder video description published in October or November 2026, grouped by the biome that video covers. Each biome list is separate: no animal appears in two of them. What the list does not carry is a verified hiding spot for most entries, and it has never been reconciled line by line against the in-game Index, which may also count rewards and merges.

Your ticks live in this browser only. Clearing site data, switching browsers or opening the site on a phone gives you a fresh, empty list. There is no account and no sync.

Next

Take the biome you are working through and open its page: that is where the gates, quest counters and entry routes live. If a ticked-off animal will not appear in game, the condition is probably one of the nine recorded ones.
